Georgia State Route 301 is a north-south route located entirely in Dade County in the extreme northwest corner of Georgia. The route enters Georgia from Alabama, intersects S.R. 136 west of Trenton, then curves back to the northwest, reentering Alabama. The route's entire length is atop Sand Mountain.
