State Route 283 is a north-south state route located entirely in Hall County in the northeastern part of the U.S. state of Georgia. From the route's southern terminus at State Route 60 northwest of Gainesville, the route runs north, then turns east to meet State Route 52. After a brief concurrency with State Route 52, the route continues east through Clermont before taking a sharp right turn to meet its northern terminus at State Route 52.
