Georgia State Route 162

State Route 162 begins at the intersection of SR 36 northwest of Jackson in Newton County southeast of Atlanta, Georgia. Traveling north, SR 162 to the its terminus at Interstate 20 (exit 84) east of Conyers, Georgia in Rockdale County. It serves a major connector road for residents of southern Newton County and has seen significant growth in the past ten years.
