Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies

The Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies, formerly the School for Summer and Continuing Education, is a school at Georgetown University in Georgetown, Washington, D.C., United States. Founded in 1974, it graduated its first students in 1975.^[1] The school operates four types of graduate degree programs, over thirty professional certificates and non-degree courses. The school incorporates the Georgetown University Center for Continuing and Professional Education, located off-campus in Clarendon, Virginia. While only graduate level courses are offered during the spring and fall semesters, the school oversees summer course offerings for undergraduates of Georgetown and other universities, as well as summer study programs for high school students.
