Georgetown Township is located in Vermilion County, Illinois. The population was 8,083 at the 2000 census.

Georgetown Township covers an area of 25.61 square miles and contains two villages: Georgetown and Westville. According to the USGS, it contains six cemeteries: Dukes, Forest Park, Lithuanian, Pleasant Mound, Saints Peter and Paul, and Sandusky.
