George Washington High School is located on the far southeast side of Chicago in the East Side neighborhood. It serves the students of East Side, Hegewisch, and South Deering. It is about 66% Latino, 23% Black, and 9% White.[citation needed] It is located on 114th st and Avenue O.
George Washington High School was also in the opening movie My Life staring Michael Keaton
