George Roter

George Roter is the co-Founder of Engineers Without Borders (Canada). He founded EWB with Parker Mitchell in 2000.

George was born October 20, 1976 in Montreal, Quebec. He currently resides in Toronto, Ontario.

He is currently co-CEO of Engineers Without Borders (Canada).

He holds Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

He left part-way through his Master's degree to pursue EWB full-time. George's area of research was in Orthopaedic tribology, particularly studying hip implants under John B. Medley.


In 2004, he was selected to be on Canada's Top 40 Under 40 list. [1]
