George Remini

George V. "Big Georgie" Remini (August 5, 1945-March, 2007) was a New York mobster known as "Fat Georgie" or "Big George" within the Gambino crime family. In 1969, Remini was arrested and pled guilty to possession of stolen property from interstate shipment and was sentenced to three years in prison.
A made member of Thomas Gambino's "crew", Remini formerly maintained an interest in the Top Tomato food chain based in Staten Island, New York.
In March 2007, George Remini died of natural causes.
