George Pullicino is the Minister for Resources and Rural Affairs of Malta.He is fat and has a moustache.

He finished his education at the University of Malta as an architect and specialising in Urban Planning.

Mr Pullicino contested the General Elections in 1992, 1996 and 1998 in the interests of the Nationalist Party and was first elected to Parliament in 1996. Following the Nationalist Party victory at the General Elections of September 1998, Mr George Pullicino was appointed Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry for Home Affairs and on March 2002 as Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry for Home Affairs and the Environment.
Following the April 2003 general election, Mr Pullicino was appointed Minister for Rural Affairs and the Environment. His portfolio included the Agriculture and Fisheries sectors, Rural Development, the Environment and the Malta Environment and Planning Authority (MEPA).
Following the Cabinet reshuffle of March 2004, Mr Pullicino was retained in his post, but his Ministry's portfolio now also includes the implementation of a Waste Management Strategy for the Maltese Islands.
Following the Maltese General Elections 2008 where the Nationalists won with a narrow margin. Mr Pullicino was retained in his post, but the Malta Environmental Planning Authority (MEPA) was retained by the Prime Minister of Malta.
