George Orwel

George Orwel is a veteran New York-based journalist who writes for several oil-industry publications and has appeared on national cable news programs, such as CNN, as an oil analyst.[1] He's also been published in the Los Angeles Times, Newswday, San Jose Mercury News, the Christian Science Monitor and the Washington Times. He graduated from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 1996 and Brooklyn Law School in 2002. He also attended a summer course in media law and policy at Oxford University's Center for Socio-Legal Studies in England. He's the author of a 2006 oil book, Black Gold: The New Frontier in Oil for Investors.
