George O. Petrie (November 16, 1912 - November 16, 1997) was an American television actor.
He was born in New Haven, Connecticut. He appeared on Dallas, in the recurring role of Harv Smithfield. On The Honeymooners he had recurring character roles throughout the series.
Other TV credits include: The Honeymooners, Rawhide, 77 Sunset Strip, The Twilight Zone, Leave It to Beaver, Perry Mason, Dr. Kildare, Combat!, Bonanza, The Addams Family, The Munsters, The Wild Wild West, Hawaii Five-O, Gunsmoke, Ironside, Maude, Little House on the Prairie, Cagney and Lacey, Dynasty, Quincy, Knight Rider, St. Elsewhere, Wiseguy, Night Court and L.A. Law.
He died of lymphoma on his 85th birthday in Los Angeles. He and his wife, the former Patricia Pope, had two children.
