George Koichi Nozuka (b. April 28, 1986 [1]), billed as George, is a Canadian R&B/Pop singer.

George is of Japanese and Caucasian descent[citation needed]. His father is Hiromitsu Nozuka[2] and his mother is Holly Stern (born Holly Sedgwick). Stern's half-sister is actress Kyra Sedgwick.
His younger brother Justin is also a musician who debuted his album Holly in 2007, and his brother Philip, an actor, has appeared on Degrassi: The Next Generation. Other family members include Christian, another musician; Henry, a dancer of modern dance and two sisters, Margaret and Sandra (Sandy).
George attended St. Andrew's College until 2002, before transferring to the Etobicoke School of the Arts to study musical theatre. He graduated in 2005.

In the week of October 27, 2006, his debut single "Talk to Me" peaked at #1 on the MuchMusic Music Video countdown.
Nozuka sings, dances, plays piano, guitar and harmonica, and co-wrote all of the songs on his album.[3] He spent 12 months recording it in Toronto, Los Angeles and Sweden with a number of producers, including Perry Alexander, Roy "Royalty" Hamilton and Anthony M.
On July 5, 2007, George went to Haiti with PLAN CANADA to shoot a documentary on child slavery. He also filmed the music video for "Hurting Child", a song from his album "Believe". His third single "Last Time" (produced by Roy "Royalty" Hamilton & Anthony M.) was released in August 2007.
Believe was also released in Japan in July 2007.
A fifth single, "Butterfly", was also released, with the music video directed by RT!.
