George Mraz

George Mraz (born Jiří Mráz on September 9, 1944 in Písek, Czech Republic) is a jazz bassist and alto saxophonist. He attended the Berklee College of Music in 1970. He can be heard on Time Stream: Toshiko Plays Toshiko and Bossas & Ballads - The Lost Sessions. He was a member of Oscar Peterson's group, and has worked with Stan Getz, Tommy Flanagan, Chet Baker and many other important jazz musicians.
