George Ledwell Taylor (1788–1873) was an architect and landowner who lived in London.
He designed the Garrison Chapel at The Royal Dockyard, Chatham, and Hadlow Castle, Kent.
He also suggested the name for Trafalgar Square.
GLT was responsible for an extremely fine set of ground plans of the Royal Dockyards of England and the Colonies. He also designed the lock gates and canal to the Mast Pond at Royal Dockyard, Deptford.
