George Hood

George Hood is a 50 year old retired drug enforcement officer from Aurora, Illinois. He is best known for his Guinness Book of Records record of most consecutive hours on a stationary bike. From May 4th, 2008 to May 12th, 2008, Hood rode a stationary bike for 176 hours and 50 minutes, breaking the earlier record by 2 hours. It is estimated that he traveled around 2,700 miles and used about 47,000 Calories.[1]
