Dr. George H. Guthrie is the Benjamin W. Perry Professor of Bible and chair of the School of Christian Studies at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. He is considered to be one of the premier authorities in the United States on the Book of Hebrews in the New Testament[who?] and could also be considered a specialist in Second Corinthians.[1]. He has authored numerous articles and seven books.
