George Patrick Forsyth Sommer (born 20 June 1982 in Caracas, Venezuela) is a Peruvian football goalkeeper who debuted professionally for Alianza Lima and now plays for Atalanta. He was raised in Peru, his father Harold Forsyth is Peruvian and his mother Verónica Sommer is German. He was part of the sub17, sub20, sub23 and now senior squad for the Peruvian national football team. Other clubs he has played for include Borussia Dortmund of Germany.
