George Eyser (born 1871, date of death unknown) was an American gymnast who competed in the 1904 Summer Olympics, earning six medals, including three gold. Eyser competed with a wooden prosthesis for a left leg[1], having lost his real leg after being run over by a train[2], and he is believed to be the only Olympic medal winner who had a wooden leg[citation needed].
Eyser also competed for Concordia, with the club winning the 1908 international meet in Frankfurt, Germany, and the 1909 national meet in Cincinnati, Ohio.
