George Thomas DiCarlo (born July 13, 1963) is a former freestyle swimmer from the United States, who won the gold medal in the men's 400m freestyle event at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California. At the same tournament he gained the silver medal in the 1500m freestyle.
DiCarlo didn't made the fastest time in the 400m freestyle in LA; West Germany's Thomas Fahrner didn't pass the heats, but swam an Olympic record in the B-Final, earning him just the ninth place overall.
