George Dawkes

George Dawkes (July 19, 1920 — August 10, 2006) was an English cricketer.
Dawkes represented Leicestershire (1937-1939) and Derbyshire (1947-1960) as a wicket keeper and right-handed batsman. He was remembered as a fine exponent of his craft. During the 1949-50 season he toured India with a team of players making up a Commonwealth XI.
