George Coe is an American actor who has appeared in many films, television shows and on the stage.
He was a part of the original cast of Saturday Night Live, but he was only kept in that role for the first three shows (October 11, 18, and 25 of 1975), often as an announcer in fake commercials. Coe was used in several other episodes of SNL, but was never credited.
In 1970 he originated the role of David in the original broadway cast of Stephen Sondheim's Company .
Coe was born in Jamaica, Queens, New York City.
