George Cressler Young (born 1916 in Cincinnati, Ohio).
George Young was a judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and was reassigned to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida in 1962. It should also be noted he served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 - 1946. He was in private practice in Miami, Florida from 1951 until 1961, when he was first appointed a Judgeship. In 1961 he was appointed by President John F. Kennedy to serve as a United States District Judge.

Young graduated from the University of Florida in 1938 with his Bachelors degree. He received his Law degree from UF as well in 1940.
