George Bayes

George William Bayes (born February 27, 1884, Flamborough, Yorkshire - died December 6, 1960) was a first class cricketer who played 18 first class matches for Yorkshire between 1910 and 1921.

He was a right handed batsman and right arm arm fast bowler, scoring a total of 165 runs at 12.69 with a highest score of 36 and taking 48 wickets at 31.95 with a best of 5 for 83.

He also played in at least 6 matches for Yorkshire 2nd XI against Minor County opposition.
