George Anderson (born November 24, 1886) was an Australian rules footballer.

He started his career with South Melbourne for 3 seasons before playing with University after missing several seasons. He played most of his career as a backman, where he only managed to kick 1 goal in his 62 matches. He ended his career when University ended it's reign in the VFL. From Leopold, he played most of his football in Western County Victoria with teams Hamilton and Horsham. After his football career, George became a missionary in Korea.
