[edit] Overview
A young, wounded soldier arrives at the 4077th M*A*S*H and it is discovered by the doctors that he was wounded in action a number of other times. Hawkeye and Frank question why the soldier has bruises on his face; the young soldier brushes off the question and doesn't give an immediate answer. Later on, the soldier catches up with Hawkeye outside and, in not so many words, says that other soldiers in his unit beat him up because of his homosexuality. He then tells Hawkeye to not mention the news to anybody. Hawkeye and Trapper try to preserve his secret and prevent him from receiving a dishonorable discharge, courtesy of the bigoted Frank. Although Frank intends to file paperwork for the soldier's dishonorable discharge, he is halted when quick-witted Hawkeye and Trapper step in.
