Georg Adolf Otto Wüst (June 15, 1890 Poznań - November 8, 1977 Erlangen) was a German oceanographer. Wüst was known for his work on the Atlantic Ocean. Wüst got his doctorate in 1919 at the University of Berlin. After the death of his teacher Alfred Merz in 1925, Wüst succeeded Merz as chief oceanographer with the research vessel Meteor.
