Georg Moritz, Hereditary Prince of Saxe-Altenburg

Wilhelm Georg Moritz Ernst Albert Frederick Karl Konstantin Eduard Max, Hereditary Prince of Saxe-Altenburg (13 May 1900 - 13 February 1991) was the last head of the ducal house of Saxe-Altenburg and nominal duke of Saxe-Altenburg.
Born in Potsdam, Germany, he was the eldest son of Ernst II, Duke of Saxe-Altenburg and Adelaide of Schaumburg-Lippe, his first wife.
When his father died in 1955, Georg Moritz became the head of the house of Saxe-Altenburg and nominal Duke of Saxe-Altenburg.
He never married and his only brother and heir pressumptive, Frederick, died unmarried in 1985.
With his death in Rendsburg, Germany, the house of Saxe-Altenburg became extinct.
