Georg M. Grossman

Georg M. Grossman (October 10, 1823-1897) was a German Lutheran academic and leader.
He was born in Grossbieberau, Germany. He later moved to the United States, where he became one of the organizers of the Lutheran Synod of Iowa, serving as its president from 1854 through 1893. He also served as the founder and president of Wartburg Normal College. He died in 1897.
