Georg Müller (Catholic bishop)

Georg Müller SS.CC. born June 7, 1951 in Volkesfeld, Germany, is the current bishop of the Roman Catholic prelate of Trondheim, which encompasses central sections of Norway.
Müller made his first solemn vows with the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary on Jul 28, 1972 and completed the order's theological seminary in 1977. He was consecrated to the priesthood on March 18, 1978 by bishop Gerhard Schwenzer in Simpelveld in the Netherlands. He completed his university education at the University of Münster in 1981. On July 28, 1997, he was consecrated as bishop in Trondheim.
