Georg Brandl Egloff (born February 16, 1963 in Monterey,CA) is a composer and performer of music for film, television, radio and commercials.

Composer Georg Brandl Egloff lives and works in Los Angeles where he writes and produces music for film, television, commercials, and radio.

Georg graduated from the Berklee College of Music in Boston with a degree in performance and composition in 1986. That same year, Georg moved to New York City where he performed as a jazz pianist in Manhattan. For over a year, Mr Egloff served as the house pianist one night at week at the famous Village Gate club on Bleeker Street.

During that same period, Georg performed with many jazz and blues instrumentalists and singers including Blues greats Ruth Brown and Linda Hopkins. Egloff performed at The Village Vanguard, The Blue Note, Chicago Blues, Zanzibar, The Knitting Factory, Sweet Basil and many, many others.

In the 90's, Georg began working in rock and pop music venues with singers including Jeff Buckley, Joan Osborne, Ronnie Spector and Johnny Thunders. Mr Egloff recorded numerous times with famed record producers Phil Ramone and Frank Filipetti as a session keyboardist. He recorded a version of "My Way" for the famous Frank Sinatra "Duets" series.

He performed on "Good Morning America" as a solo pianist on numerous occasions, including a Christmas performance with Kermit the Frog and a 2 hour Halloween special with movie director Wes Craven.

Mr Egloff wrote, arranged and recorded music for the Fashion and Fragrance Awards held at Radio City Music Hall and Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall.

In 1994, producers at ABC News Productions contacted Mr Egloff to write music for a Biography on Hillary Clinton. He was soon hired again to write more than a dozen A&E Biographies produced by ABC, CBS and other independent producers.

Georg has written the music for many national television commercials.

For 4 years he was keyboardist for "Charlie's Dilemma," a band led by singer/songwriter Charlie Mangold.

Mr Egloff has composed music for many films and television programs. He has written for "The West Wing," "ER," "Providence," "Third Watch," "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," various programs airing on HBO, The Showtime Network and The Lifetime Network. His film work includes "All Ages Night," "The Big Time," "The Jimmy Show," "Terminal," "Over My Dead Body," "Just One Year" and "Lucky."

In addition, Georg has written music for scores of national television commercials. He has also worked with National Public Radio on numerous occasions including writing the main theme music for the "This I Believe" series that airs on "All Things Considered"and "Morning Edition."
