Geography and early childhood education

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Geography while not seen to be as central as basic skills such as mathematics, and language skills is an important part of early childhood education. Geography is a large and complex subject. For students it is generally divided into sub-sections such as physical geography, human geography, cultural geography, and political geography. All of these areas play an important role in the understanding of how people interact with others, the environment and how things interact with the human race.
