Geoffrey Burnstock

Geoffrey Burnstock (born 1929) is Emeritus Professor and President of the Autonomic Neuroscience Centre of the Royal Free and University College Medical School. He played a key role in the discovery of ATP as neurotransmitter.[1] In 2000, he was awarded a Royal Medal from the Royal Society.
