Geoff Keegan was one of the original characters in the long-serving children's programme Byker Grove. He was played by Billy Fane. He was in the show for 11 years.

Geoff was in charge of a children's youth club. He was committed to the club. His devotion to the club nearly cost him his life when he tried to extinguish a fire which had been caused by vandalism. Tragically he was killed in a gas explosion after attempting to save the life of a child called Stumpy.
