Geoff Bell (born 1963) is an English actor. He has appeared in Girl with a Pearl Earring, Stardust ,The Long Firm, Making Waves, The Business and Green Street.
Bell is most often seen in the roll of an unlikeable, and often violent, criminal. This is highlighted in what are probably his two most accredited performances:
In the film, Green Street, Geoff (Tommy Hatcher) plays the role of the top boy in the Millwall firm who ultimately overcome the GSE (Green Street Elite) - the West Ham United firm. He is depicted as troubled individual due to the loss of his son and has a violent attitude. In real life Bell is actually a West Ham United fan and represented them as part of Sky One's Premier League AllStars.
In the film The Business he plays a dangerous and possessive drug dealer (Sammy), prone to violent threats and often unjust attacks on individuals seemingly possessing no threat to himself.
Geoff is attached to Hit 'em Hard Film's feature, RISE AND FALL-THE JACK SPOT STORY,(currently in pre-production), based on the life of the notorious east London crime boss from the 40's and 50's Jack 'Spot' Comer. He is to play the lead role.
