Hi, i forgot to log in to wikipedia before making the edit. My username is Richmd and if you look at the history you will see that ive made quite a few edits in the past. As for the deletion, the information was simply repeated from the first section and should not have been there. Thanks, Richmd 13:47, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
RE: Your edit to St. Pete Beach, Florida
(snipped a copy of my own comment from User talk:24.73.3.74 --Geniac 19:36, 22 September 2006 (UTC))
Please note this is fact not fiction or vandalism. The blighting of St. Pete Beach can be found on their website, which included the historic shopping street of Corey Ave. Details on "Citizens for responsible growth" and tehir fight with the city can also be found on the official St. Pete bEach website, etherfore I did not find it necessary to list a source for the political climate change, as it was already a listed source. This is also well documented in local newspapers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.73.3.74 (talk • contribs) 14:42, September 22, 2006
Yes, if you look at http://stpetebeach.org/minutes/02_24_2006CommMtg.pdf, it specifically refers to "Citizens For Responsible Growth" and their fight against the city.
Another source: local newspaper: http://www.itsyourtimes.com/?q=node/17
Another source for the blight plan (which passed) : http://stpetebeach.org/agenda/Resolution_2006_15.pdf#search=%22blight%20st.%20pete%20beach%22
And another for the grass roots organization: http://www.citizensforresponsiblegrowth.org/
This "rosy" picture painted by wikipedia is incorrect and slanted without the opposing viewpoint. Therefore no "vandalism" was performed, I merely added a paragraph concerning the current political battle in the city. It's not rumour or conjecture.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.73.3.74 (talk • contribs) 10:22, September 23, 2006
Deletion
The following qoute has been extracted from Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines
The purpose of a Wikipedia talk page is to provide space for editors to discuss changes to its associated article or project page.
and i would like to point out that im NOT an article, thank you!!!
a person does indeed have the right to delete messages on his OWN talk page please see - Wikipedia:Talk_page#Etiquette it says- Most users treat their user talk pages like regular talk pages, and archive the contents periodically to a personal subpage — either when the page gets too large, on a regular schedule, or when they take a wikivacation. Others delete comments after they have responded to them.
and i have indeed responded to them, three times, already!!!

WikiProject Disambiguation Talk Request
This is a form message being sent to all WikiProject Disambiguation participants. I recently left a proposed banner idea on the WikiProject Disambiguation talk page and I would appreciate any input you could provide. Before it can be approved or denied, I would prefer a lot of feedback from multiple participants in the project. So if you have the time please join in the discussion to help improve the WikiProject. Keep up the good work in link repair and thanks for your time. Nehrams2020 21:54, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

Hi. I noticed that you are also having trouble with this user, who has done to the Judd Winick article what you describe him as having done on the Brian Quintana article. I reverted his inexplicable edits once before, which included a Factual Dispute tag that made no sense, and referred to a discussion on Winick's article's Talk Page that he never engaged in, and even removing the article's accompanying photo. Do you know of any Administrators that could help with this? Any ideas? Thanks. Nightscream 04:39, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
UPDATE I see that you've already encountered the above-mentioned user on the Pedro Zamora page, as well as another user, User:207.200.116.138, (assuming he's not the same user) has been really busy, given all the warnings and blocks on his user page. Thanks for helping to revert their vandalism. Nightscream 05:02, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

Re:AfC
No problem – it's actually relaxing for me to go through the logs and find articles to create. It's too bad I only found one or two good articles in the last log, but I've had better luck with today's submissions and I've created two good articles.
I tend to do AfC in spurts of two or three days at a time, so if I disappear from AfC for a while, don't worry – I'll be back soon. :-) KrakatoaKatie 06:00, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Upcoming template changes
Hi, I've just noticed that you recently left a templated userpage message. I'm just bringing to your attention that the format and context of these templates will be shortly changing. Seem to have added the tag to the first revision, instead of to yours. Sorry about that, it's fixed now. Thanks, Geniac, for the welcome to Wikipedia. I uploaded a page under my account name that appears not to have published, even though the formatting appears to be correct and when I preview it it looks fine. Help moving the Rachel Green article
Hi, Geniac. The name of Jennifer Aniston's character on Friends is actually spelled Rachel Greene, according to various reference sources. I tried moving the article, but couldn't, because it said that an article by that name already exists. Turns out it's a redirect that directs you back to the same article. Can you help? Lynn Anderson
I don't think there is any need to change Lynn Anderson just because of one album. And the "[Top of the World]]" song does not need to be de-linked. It's fine the way it is. Lynn Anderson recorded the same version of the song as the Carpenters did. Therefore, there is no need to change it. I'm going to change anything just because you think it's a good idea. It's fine the way it is. Nobody else has complained BUT you. LovePatsyCline 21:54, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Geniac: Thanks for the message. I'm pretty confused with things here... how did you find me? How did you know I edited something today? Why doesn't the search function find my article? Re:Page move
Well, WP:TV-NAME read "television" when I accessed the page. Looking at the [page history http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Naming_conventions_%28television%29&action=history], there's apparently an edit conflict over whether "television" or "TV" should be the standard usage. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I'm going to stop moving articles and see how the dispute turns out. -ryand 18:53, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi,
You have put yourself as interested in helping out atWikiProject on user warnings. We are now at a stage where we are creating the new templates and are wondering if you are still interested? If so please visit the overview page and choose a warning type you wish to work on. There is a base template available here, which you can copy and use to get you started. Have a look through the redirects and see what old templates are affected and incorporate them into the the new system. Anyway, any questions please don't hesitate to give me a shout. Thanks for welcoming me I am a new user and would like to stay. It is a great oppurtunity to be part with so many intellectual people like you. I may create my own user page shortly. I am in learning stage about editing. If you happen to notice any mistake don't hesitate to inform me. Thanks again, With Regards, Realman007
Lynn Anderson (Top of the World)
First of all thanks for talking to me on my talk page. Second of all, I have seen what you have been doing with the "Top of the World" song for Lynn Anderson. Thanks for trying to make it an article under the title "Top of the World (Lynn Anderson song)", but really there is no need too. The Carpenters version and Lynn Anderson's version of the song are both the same song. They are not two different songs with the same name. When this happens, there is no need to make another article for the same song. I am working on making the Top of the Wolrd article a little better. Thanks for trying anyways! Chrzcline1961 21:26, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
Lynn Anderson Reply on "Top of the World"
I am glad to see you're thinking, but this doesn't seem logical. There has been so many cover versions of the song "Top of the World", that it wouldn't seem right to just put one down. This would be much better if you did the following: In the disambiguation page you could write this next to "Top of the World (The Carpenters song)";
- "Top of the World (The Carpenters song)"; a hit by The Carpenters, but was first covered and made famous by Lynn Anderson.
This is much more logical. If you have any questions, let meknow! Bye! Chrzcline1961 20:31, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
Contribution made on 12/12/06?
Hi - just following up on an article I wrote about a HK musician, it's my first article and I'm not sure what this means on my contributions page:
"16:26, 13 December 2006 Geniac (Talk | contribs) m (→Dan F - Repairing link to disambiguation page"
It's not been approved, but it's not been deleted either so a little bit confused - sorry to bother you :) When I add other HK recording artists, am I still going to need to follow up like this? Many thanks, Robb / Robb852 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Robb852 (talk • contribs) 06:48, December 20, 2006
Dan F
Ah - ok, i see what you mean, disambiguation tries to avoid pointless links to (definitions of) terms which do not add to the clarity of the overall article. Is there anything else I should try to aim for when creating these pages? Thanks G & merry xmas. Robb / Robb852 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Robb852 (talk • contribs) 16:08, December 20, 2006

WP:UWLS
Hi,
You are down as a member of the WikiProject on user warning layout standardisation. I and a number of editors for the last couple of months have been working on the harmonisation of the current warning message templates, at WP:UW. I have spoken to a couple of other members of your project, and I would like to merge it and it's talk pages with ours. If you still have interest in the project or would like to participate or have any thoughts on the combined projects please let me know. Any other problems don't hesitate to give me a shout. Regards Khukri (talk . contribs) 11:00, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Geniac, are you OK with the merge now, and happy with the answers to your questions? There was only one member for and one against, you and Pathoschild. So if it's OK with yourself I'll merge the two pages this evening. But more importantly we'd like you to come over to WP:UW as an active member, to help out and also make sure that UWLS doesn't get swept under the carpet. Best regards Khukri (talk . contribs) 08:33, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

Nissan external links
Promise of thing to describe exhibition origin clearly ?
Recently, the seditious movement thought to be an obstruction to exclude the external link is seen, and it is unpleasant. In ja and en Wikipedia, there is a possibility that the doubt of doing the copy of the second without permission if the above-mentioned title is not fulfilled on the referred page is born from others.--ek-10st Toyama 11:38, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
21:21, 5 January 2007 edit to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Burdis
Hi,
Noticed that you removed the double brackets from around the phrase "1990" from the paragraph;
"His appearances on film include playing the character of "Mark" in the 1990 release of The Krays"
Just wondered why? Wanted to make sure I hadn't missed some formatting ettiquette, especially as the other 'year' tags have been left in place?
Thanks for any input.

Hi again,
Thanks for the quick reply, and the especially the link to the "overlinking and underlinking" article.
I can see exactly what you mean now, and think that sometimes one feels that one must check and "link in" anything that is in Wikipedia, despite that giving an article that ends up being entirely written in blue! ;-)
It's better the way you've left it, so I won't be changing it back, and I'll bear the good advice and pointers for any future work.
Good luck too with the ongoing Disambiguation project. (I can see that being an absolute nightmare at times!)

Geniac, per below, I am Alli Joseph. I can't seem to make my user page into an "article" page. Also, the "user profile" is showing up in Google searches, but not an article listing, which is kind of queer. I'd rather it be an article. The information on the user page I created is factual, as it is my bio. I thought it only fair since someone else is referring to me in HIS bio page, which I most certainly believe his staff posted, as an ex-girlfriend. This is true info, but, if I am going to be on Wiki, I'd like to be my own person. :-) Please advise. Wizard
Regarding the wizard, I wonder why you didn't just redirect this discussion page to what may be the only or main wizard discussion page. By not redirecting, you may stem productive discussion about the wizard.
Second, I thought it was worth mentioning that the notability page has a typo. The first mention of what should be "Verifiability", a wikilink on the second line, actually appears as "Verifiably".
Third, I was wondering why it is that the first category is Companies or Corporations, doesn't include Associations or Groups.
Lastly, despite a lack of a significant amount of evidence suggesting that you are responsible for the wizard, I thought that you might be able to effect some of these changes (though I will post a recap of this at the wizard discussion page). 134.250.70.81 03:32, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
