[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Iroh.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Iroh.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 23:31, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

- You can link to a sound file as you would an image, like this: [[Image:Example.ogg]] - that code produces the player at right. However, there isn't much music on Wikipedia because most music is copyrighted, and even if you do find a sample clip you like, our non-free content policy prohibits anyone from using copyrighted material on user pages. So please don't embed music on your page. Hersfold (t/a/c) 01:49, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of This (Part of Maze)
A tag has been placed on This (Part of Maze), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Mr mark taylor (talk) 03:24, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

- I'm sorry, Wikipedia isn't a place to play games. We're here to build an encyclopedia, and creating pages like that is disruptive. If you'd like people to talk to you, you may consider posting on their talk pages. If they don't respond here, they probably did on their talk page. Hersfold (t/a/c) 03:32, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Warning
Genius, I've been going through your contributions just now, and noticed that you have very few edits out side of your userspace, and most of those to articles are either test edits or vandalism. I'd like to remind you again that Wikipedia isn't MySpace or anywhere to play games, especially in the main namespace where we keep articles. Making edits to that effect is disruptive and could lead to a block, one of which you've already had. You should probably consider reading through some of our policies and guidelines, as they may help you better understand what Wikipedia is and what you can do to help improve it. This might also reduce the number of times you need to call for help with {{helpme}} as well. However, if your intention here is not to build an encyclopedia, which is Wikipedia's purpose, you may be at the wrong site. I'm sorry to put it that way, but your actions so far aren't showing that that's what you're here to do. If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know on my talk page. Hersfold (t/a/c) 04:39, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
- I'd like you to make some improvements to articles before I tell you. I don't mean to seem as though I'm blackmailing you or anything, but like I said, we're here to build an encyclopedia, not make a cool signature. You'll notice a lot of the more experienced users simply have a default signature. Let me know when you've made some improvements and I'll show you the code. Hersfold (t/a/c) 04:21, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Question
Looking at the deletion log, it seems that several articles on several different topics have been created and subsequently deleted for various reasons at that title. At least one such article was about the video you mentioned; you can see the deletion discussion on it here. If you truly want to write an article on that, I'd suggest you do some considerable research into it, as the page is not likely to be unprotected unless you can demonstrate that you are able to write a fully fledged article that is capable of establishing notability for the video according to WP:WEB, as well as our numerous other policies which will need to be closely followed for an article on such a controversial subject. This page may also be of considerable help. I'd suggest working on a draft article on a user subpage of yours, such as User:GENIUS(4th power)/Sandbox, so you can show administrators what you have ready when you go to request unprotection of the page.
On an unrelated note, the contributions links in your signature and on your user page are incorrect. The correct link is Special:Contributions/GENIUS(4th power). Hersfold (t/a/c) 22:57, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image source problem with Image:DeadlyShadows.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:DeadlyShadows.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 23:59, 14 May 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 23:59, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 20:06, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, 2065:the end?, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 21:35, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
- References? There was no references at all on the article? And also, it had no neutral point-of-view. You can remake it but if it has no purpose from what it has, then I would have to delete it. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 21:40, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
- For this so-called "world destruction", use "me", "we", "I", and such. It's not about you. Ex.
"For years, i have heard from friends at school about the legend of "Armageddeon(i spelt it wrong, please correct)". "judgement Day", and "Doomsday", but have we ever heard when it was meant to happen? I have."

Nakon! Where is your userpage?
- My userpage is linked in my signature. Nakon 18:31, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
No its not.
- Since you insist on re-adding the image, I'll go ahead and delete it for being licensed incorrectly. You may not just upload media without properly citing where you downloaded the image from. Additionally, you may not have fair-use images in your userspace. Nakon 18:42, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Image:Famousstarsandstraps.jpg
A tag has been placed on Image:Famousstarsandstraps.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free image with no fair use rationale uploaded after May 4, 2006 which has been tagged as not having a rationale for more than 7 days.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] Blocked
You have been blocked for one week for continually ignoring requests to improve your conduct and edit in a constructive manner. You have been asked several times to make useful edits to articles, shorten your signature to meet guidelines, stop editing only in your userspace, stop uploading copyrighted images under false licenses and placing them on your userpage, but you have continued all of these activities despite several attempts to work with you. You may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below, providing a reason why you should be unblocked where indicated. Please note, however, that unless you can demonstrate a willingness and capability to actively help improve this project, you are unlikely to be unblocked. When your block expires or is lifted, please help improve the project rather than remaining here to play games. Hersfold (t/a/c) 20:05, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- Endorse This block is justified. Genius you need to shape up. CWii(Talk|Contribs) 20:28, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- It's not problematic for people to edit their userspace, but it does become a problem when the amount of edits there make it clear they're not here to contribute. You have less than 20 edits to articles, most of which could be considered at best unconstructive, several others vandalism. You've been asked several times to make useful edits outside of your user pages, and you have continued to do so. Wikipedia is not a game. We are here to build an encyclopedia, not to screw around. Please do think about this, take a few looks through some of our policies, especially what Wikipedia is not, and come back after your block expires. Hersfold (t/a/c) 22:21, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Just wanted to say
Hey, i just made an edit to the page Hu Jintao concerning the vice president(s). From the news i had as well as my newest encyclopedia, Wu Xiaoquing is the current vice president, so i added him in there in replacement to the other one. Just thought youd know.
-
- It's a good thing you asked, because we already have an article at 2008 Sichuan earthquake. It was linked to off the Main Page for several weeks. In the future, do try searching for articles before looking to create them. Usually topics like this are covered almost instantly. Just so you know, I am on vacation right now, and probably aren't the best person to ask questions of at the moment for that reason.
- I appreciate that you are looking to contribute, however several of your recent edits seem to be unhelpful. You've been warned about this before. This is a serious encyclopedia, and goofing off won't be tolerated. These edits aren't acceptable, and despite being told multiple times to stop messing with your signature, you kept up with it again. You may not be aware of it, but if you do not heed the several warnings and blocks you have received, you may be placed under an editing restriction known as a topic ban, which prohibits you from editing outside of a specified area - in your case, a topic ban would likely restrict you to edit only articles, their talk pages, and your own user talk page. If this does not appear to work, then you may be blocked from all editing indefinitely. Please, to save us all a lot of time and headache, consider helping us out instead of playing around. If you're not sure what needs to be done, try taking a look at some of the links in my welcome template to get you started. You may also want to consider getting adopted by an experienced user who can help you out. You don't have to do this, but please be aware that any further unconstructive editing may result in you being recommended for a topic ban as described above. I hate to go "evil admin" on you, but you don't seem to be getting the message despite several strong attempts to get it through. Hersfold non-admin(t/a/c) 00:46, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
