I am a relative newcomer to Wikipedia, but I'm learning quickly. I can be rather pedantic and fussy about details and grammar, which I suppose isn't such a bad thing when dealing with an encyclopedia. In particular, I am interested in increasing the number and improving the quality of articles about New Zealand subjects, as there are deplorably few. My other current pet project is in improving the Tolkien-related articles, in particular Lord of the Rings.
