He moved to New York City in 1983 and was pursued by many fashion magazines like Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, Seventeen, Cosmo, Redbook and Mademoiselle. After many successes, artful vision began to be expressed through the eyes of Gen. He traded in his blow-dryer for a Hasselblad to be a photographer. Though Gen’s art changed venues, his success remained the same. Soon major US-Int'l publishers [Condé Naste, Hearst, Filipacchi, Figaro] were clamoring for his work. Gen resides in the historically artistic community of Greenwich Village in NYC.
