[edit] Merge with Gentoo/*BSD
While Gentoo/NetBSD and Gentoo/OpenBSD are still in infancy, Gentoo/FreeBSD is a distribution of its own right, the page might be short (I was already planning of adding some tech notes about it on the page), but it's going to loose itself when other Gentoo/ALT projects are added (OpenSolaris, Darwin, whatever will come). - Are you therefore in favor of at least merging Gentoo/OpenBSD to Gentoo/ALT?
- I have no problem if an article eventually becomes longer, and is then broken off into an individual article. As it is, the different GNU/*BSD articles do not stand well on their own & should be combined to make stronger articles (Wikipedia is not a dictionary; there doesn't need to be a separate entry for every concept in the universe ... If an article is very short and cannot or should not be expanded terribly much, it often makes sense to merge it with an article on a broader topic.)
- See also Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/GNU/kFreeBSD, where Gronky and Janizary both suggest the Gentoo/*BSDs and Gentoo/ALT be merged into Gentoo.

- Yes as I said Gentoo/NetBSD and Gentoo/OpenBSD should be probably merged, yep. That's why I actually opened Gentoo/ALT and transferred G/*BSD there; they are just branches of a project that still have to sprout enough to be an extended article. Gentoo/FreeBSD is incomplete, I have to write on it, give me a couple of days, I actually haven't paid so much attention until I found the GNU reference on it (but now I think it's time to clear out what it is and what it's not).
