[edit] Legal Issues

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that downloading commercial ROMs is illegal -- even if the games are no longer produced. I've removed the link to Edge Emulation "to protect the innocent" or some such nonsense. Anyway, if people want ROMs, they can use Google. Emulators, on the other hand, are fine. --69.132.183.189 02:13, 26 September 2005 (UTC)

--Actually you are wrong, downloading commercial software, multimedia and entertainment is perfectly legal (multiple cases have proven this), distributing said material on the other hand is highly illegal. And before you go on about all those people taken to court by the RIAA, they were convicted for distribution as they where on a peer-to-peer network.

[edit] GENS versus Gens

Stef refers to the emulator as Gens. I'm going to shift the article. Spelling it with all-caps appears to be a common grammatical mistake. Chris Cunningham 14:52, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
