no, they don't


Genoa derrived from "knee"??? It's entirely possible that the italian name of the city (Genova) is derrived from the latin word of knee, but that is totally missing the point. Genoa is spellt without the "v" as the British founders gave the club an English name, hence the english spelling of the city. I've edited the origin of the (English) name of the club and deleted the derrivation of the (Italian) name of the city (wich should be in the article about the city). -- --sebisthlm 19:45, 9 May 2007
