I don't understand what this is supposed to mean: " . . . most GTers are known by their willingness and enthusiasm to reduce their interests to practice through hands-on work." Nortino 16:53, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
This is a take-off on the concept, in patent law, of reducing a concept (i.e. 'their interest') to a practical demonstration of the implementation of the invention ('to practice') - Steve Johnson
