Does anybody know/understand what the relationship between the GSD and INIS is? Was INIS renamed to GSD, is one part of the other, or are they seperate agencies? I couldn't find out from the sources I've got although I suspect that the Jane's article might shed some light on this. Unfortunately I don't have a subscription to that. - pir 12:15, 25 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Heh, I'm sorry no one has responded over the past 3.5 years! I haven't been able to find much of everything except the news reports announcing the creation of these two organizations. I'll see if Jane's has anything. Joshdboz (talk) 13:34, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Update: I did find one Jane's article proving that INIS is still in existence as of July 2007. Either the General Security Directorate never got off the ground or hasn't generated any news since the announcement. I'm going to split the articles up for the time being.
