No, because he was recruited into the New Christy Minstrels at the age of eighteen, in 1963, he increased his age by three years to enable him to perform in adult clubs. His birth date of 1944 is etched on his gravestone and was approved by his parents.

The article sadly degenerates as it expands. The "Legacy" section, however well meaning, is pure POV - therefore ^{[citation needed]} please, or deletion.

The main article needs much work too but a lead summarising the whole article would be great, it surprising how many people just read the lead and move on. Sillyfolkboy (talk) 22:36, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
