[edit] Welsh-American

Anyone have a source for her being of Welsh descent? Thanks. — Mike 7 13:41, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

Gena's paternal grandfather, Daniel M. Rowlands, was the son of Welsh immigrants. Gena's paternal grandmother, Emma Rowlands, was the daughter of a Welsh mother. So, Gena's father was at least three-quarters Welsh, making Gena at least three-eighths Welsh. — Walloon 07:51, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

No info on the Welsh part... Just wondering why the movie Grace & Glorie isn't listed here? Gena Rowlands was INCREDIBLE in that movie. Since that movie I will watch any movie that has either one of them (Gena Rowlands or Diane Lane). Gena was Gloria and Diane was Grace. I love them both in any role--but that was the movie that hooked me permanently as a fan for both of those fabulous women!207.69.138.135 07:23, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
