The Gentleman Gourmand is the nom de plume and alter-ego of Andrew Baber, a food blogger and critic. He has appeared as a guest on the Food Network TV show The Hungry Detective with Chris Cognac, episode DC0109, taking place in Boston, MA. The Gentleman Gourmand and Chris Cognac ate lunch at Mary Chung's Chinese restaurant in Cambridge. He recommended many tasty dishes including Suan La Chow Show. He went on record saying that Mongolian beef, containing nothing but beef and onions, was "...my kind of dish."
