Video Broadcast - Delivers HDTV components for professional and broadcast video markets. Gennum's award-winning portfolio includes SDI equalizers, reclockers, cable drivers, serializer/deserializers (SERDES), timing and clock conditioning solutions. As a key contributor to the SMPTE, the company continues to pioneer transport technologies that deliver advance the video broadcast market.

Data Communications – Gennum offers a comprehensive suite of backplane interconnect and optical transceiver ICs including laser drivers, equalizers, SERDES, clock and data recovery (CDRs) and transimpedance amplifiers (TIAs) for high-speed data communication and telecommunication applications in order to meet increasing demands for a higher bandwidth Internet.

Consumer Connectivity – Gennum offers transmitter and receiver solutions that enable consumers to stream HDMI content, via low-cost cable, at distances that are an order of magnitude greater than previously available cables.

IP - Gennum offers a broad range of IP cores and design services, all of which are developed and licensed in order to reduce the technical risk and time-to-market associated with the analog and mixed signal components of their semiconductor and system-on-chip products. Company IP product offerings include standards-based IP cores, such as PCI Express and SATA PHY macros, multi-standard SerDes, and high-performance, non-standard analog cores, such as high-speed data converters, low-jitter PLLs, and power management circuits.
