Gennessee Lewis (born January 23, 1974) is a music producer from Brooklyn residing in Northern California. He first made his bones in a crew called Double Life. Along with partner L Roneous, the duo made noise with their single 'Revolutions' before parting ways. Gen soon teamed up with freestyle fanatic Bazooka Joe Gotti to form Street Reportas whose EP 'America Undercover' was released late last year. In addition to working on his solo album, Gennessee had kept busy with collabos like 'Definition of Nice' produced by Paul Nice featuring A.G. and Babu.

http://cdbaby.com/cd/mfabg The wait is over. The moves have been made. The industry has begun to recognize one of the most gifted and talented producers in The Bay Area and Nationwide.
Gennessee is a producer. Gennessee is a visionary. Gennessee is an independent record label owner, a C.E.O., as well as a songwriter and musician. With over 5,000 songs under his belt, and a discography that ranges from Cuban Link to Too Short, Chino XL to Frank B (The Missy Elliot’s Road to Stardom show), his production credits look like an all-star team lineup. With a strong management team behind him, Gennessee has begun to branch out into all aspects of the music industry, establishing publishing companies, opening up record labels, handling bookings, management, and all other day to day operations.
With an experienced group of musicians behind him, and producers Cozmo and Maxwel Smart, he is one of the most sought after people when it comes to making a hit record. Gennessee has recently been getting spins on numerous Clear Channel Radio stations across the country and in his home town with The TEAM’s “Good Girl”, The Federation’s “We Ain’t Wid That” , and Lil Jordan’s “2 The Top”. He produced 10 songs for Bay Area legend Mac Dre (R.I.P.), before he died. A few of these songs, most notably “Dreganomics” which was featured on the album “Ronald Dregan” (Thizz Ent.), became instant local classics. The buzz that followed allowed him to produce a couple of key songs on Mistah F.A.B’s “Son of a Pimp” (Thizz Ent.). In the process he has also gained notoriety by producing for most of the key players in the Bay Area rap scene. (Yukmouth, B- Legit, San Quinn, Turf Talk, Messy Marv etc.)
Gennessee has a few projects in the works. He has recently signed an alternative rock group, “DogWood Speaks” to his label Noble House Records (noblehouserecords.com), and with the success of their first single “Fly Away”, the future looks promising. His beats are definitely falling in the right hands.
The recent Bay Area explosion has opened a lot of doors for one of greatest hit makers the world has yet to discover. So here he is ladies and gentlemen. Music in it’s purest form…………Gennessee.
