The Genesee Towers is the tallest high-rise in Flint, Michigan, United States. Began in 1966 and completed in 1968, the tower consists of 172,000 square feet (15,979 square meters) of office space in 10 stories, which overhang an 8-story parking garage and lobby level for a total of 19 floors. The building stands 250 feet high. The tower was totally vacated in 1997 when its last tenent, National Bank of Detroit, moved out. It has since fallen into disrepair and is unfit for usage. In November 2007 the streets around the tower were closed due to the risk of concrete falling from the tower.
