- Generation X (Quebec band), a hard rock band from Quebec City, Quebec, who uses the same name as the British punk band without their permission.
- Generation X (book), a classic of pop sociology by Charles Hamblett and Jane Deverson (Fawcett, 1964). The authors interviewed British Mods. Billy Idol named his band after this book.
- Generation X (comics), a comic book series published by Marvel Comics.
